Stimulating connections to create & share respected & trusted resources, to support people through challenging times.

Innervate has worked in partnership with healthcare professionals for many years, developing educational initiatives to support their work with people living with long term chronic conditions. Based in South East London, our work includes identifying gaps in medical and healthcare education provision and helping health professionals to fill that gap through offering creative input. Our work includes partnering with healthcare professionals to establish and run organisations that help to address the gap in education . In this page you can read about some of the organisations we have established and/or working with .

The Community Therapists Network

The Community Therapists Network (CTN) was born out of the Community Rehabilitation Teams Network after Innervate was invited to support and run the network. It has been supporting the educational needs of allied healthcare professionals, such as physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists and dietitians for over 20 years. Innervate continues to be actively involved in running the Network along with its educational activities, which includes work on the Therapy Outcome Measures (TOMs), with Professor Pam Enderby, OBE.

The Primary Care and Community Neurology Society

The Primary Care and Community Neurology Society is a growing organisation of likeminded healthcare professionals, and partnering organisations who share a desire to drive up the standard of services to improve neurology care across primary care and the wider neurology community. Innervate initiated the creation of the P-CNS in 2004 and continues to run the Society. This includes the development and management of the Society’s educational activities, the website and much more. Find out more about the P-CNS at www.p-cns.org.uk.

As well as running the organisation for a number of years, our work included designing a logo and developing the brand for the organisation plus running their website and various events. The charity, Verity PCOS now runs the organisation.

The Primary Care Genetics Society

Innervate Ltd stimulated the creation of the Primary Care Genetics Society, following consultation with a number of primary care professionals, who had a special interest in genetics. Although the organisation is not currently active at the moment, Innervate continues to be keen to rekindle the work of the PCGS.

The Diabetes Monitoring Forum

Innervate Ltd identified a need to support the education of both healthcare professionals and also patients with diabetes were monitoring their blood glucose appropriately, and according to the nature of the treatment given to the patient.

So Innervate Ltd with funding support from Abbott Diabetes Care, stimulated the creation of the Diabetes Monitoring Forum, an independent group of health professionals who had the objective of providing appropriate advice to patients via healthcare professionals on blood glucose and ketone monitoring.
